Understanding the Dashboard

The Stoke sidebar is organized into three sections: Content, Distribute, and System. Each maps to a different part of your workflow.

Content

  • Sources: Your video library. Import YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram videos here. Every imported video becomes a source you can select when generating drafts.
  • Knowledge Base: Where you designate specific sources as persistent context for a given platform. Knowledge base entries are automatically included when you generate drafts for that platform.

Distribute

This section contains one item per output platform. Each has its own sub-navigation:

  • Short Scripts: Short-form video scripts for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Long Scripts: Long-form scripts for YouTube videos or podcast episodes.
  • LinkedIn: LinkedIn posts.
  • X: X posts and threads.
  • Newsletter: Newsletter drafts (Pro only).

Clicking any platform in the sidebar expands its sub-navigation, which includes a Create New page, a Drafts page, and (for LinkedIn) a Templates page.

System

  • Settings: Manage your account, billing, and platform-specific AI instructions. The AI tab in Settings is where you write custom instructions that get applied every time you generate content for each platform, such as your tone of voice, topics to avoid, or structural preferences.

Credit Balance

Your remaining credits are shown at the bottom of the sidebar. Clicking it takes you directly to Settings > Billing.
