What to do if a video source stays stuck in the processing state.

Video Stuck in "Processing"

If a video source shows "Processing" for more than 5 minutes, there are a few things to try.

Common Causes

  • The video has no auto-generated captions and manual captions are not available.
  • The video is very long (over 2 hours).
  • A temporary issue with the transcript service.

Steps to Resolve

  • Refresh the page. Sometimes the status update is delayed.
  • Wait 5 more minutes and refresh again.
  • Delete the source and re-import it.
  • If the issue persists, email us at support@trystoke.io with the video URL.

Credits

If a video fails to process, credits for that import are not charged. If you were charged and the video failed, email us at support@trystoke.io and we'll refund the credits.
